![]() | triathlonscotland is the national governing body for triathlon, duathlon and multi-sport and is responsible for governing all matters in relation to these sports in Scotland. We provide a broad and comprehensive range of services to our 2500+ members, 43 clubs and 9000 participation base in Scotland. Our services are delivered through a dedicated team of individuals, which include a well populated, voluntary Executive Board and a small but growing core of staff. The organisation is supported by a broad and enthusiastic base of volunteers, who manage the clubs and events which are the mainstay of the sport. As this relatively young sport evolves, so the organisation seeks to build a workforce of committed coaches and officials. Crucially, in a sport which only exists in its competitive format, triathlonscotland continues to produce home grown World Champions. |
British Triathlon Federation, whose members are the three Home Nation's Associations of Triathlon England, triathlonscotland and Welsh Triathlon. British Triathlon Federation is affiliated to the International Triathlon Union. British Triathlon is responsible for matters such as the Great Britain Elite, Age Group Teams, British and International events, Anti-Doping and International Representation. British Triathlon also manages a number of services that are shared with the three Home Nations.
